A hands-on look at Vista Social pricing, its unified inbox and social listening, AI credits and network coverage, and who should pick it over Sprout Social or Hootsuite. Checked September 2026.

Most social media suites bill by the seat, and that is where they quietly get expensive. Sprout Social's entry Standard plan runs $199 per user each month, billed annually (checked in September 2026); add one more manager and you are past $400 before anyone has scheduled a post. Vista Social charges for the plan, not the head. Its cheapest paid tier, Professional, is $79/month and already covers 15 connected social profiles and 2 users, a flat number an agency can actually budget against.
Vista Social is a social media management platform: schedule posts, answer every comment and DM from one inbox, read analytics, run social listening, manage reviews, and draft captions with AI. It claims 30,000+ brands and agencies as users and holds a 4.8/5 average across hundreds of G2 reviews (checked in September 2026). None of that is unusual on its own. The pricing model and the network coverage are what set it apart.
Vista Social connects to 13+ networks, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, Reddit, Snapchat, Threads and Bluesky. The last three matter more than the marketing lets on. Plenty of cheaper schedulers still cannot publish to Bluesky or Threads, and Reddit support is rare outside enterprise-priced tools. If your audience has drifted off the big three platforms, this is one of the few mid-priced suites that follows them there.
X is the asterisk. The native X integration is a $29/month add-on rather than part of any base plan, because Vista passes through the API fee X now charges third parties. Budget for it if X is in your rotation, or you will hit that wall on day one.
Four paid tiers, all with a 14-day free trial that takes no credit card. Annual billing knocks 20% off every plan.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Profiles | Users | AI credits/mo |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Professional | $79 | $758/yr | 15 | 2 | 1,000 |
| Advanced | $149 | $1,430/yr | 30 | 4 | 2,000 |
| Scale | $349 | $3,638/yr | 70 | 8 | 3,500 |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | Custom quote | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Advanced is where the agency features begin: custom fields, multi-stage approval workflows, custom reports, and Zapier, Make and MCP integrations. Scale adds white-label branding, client profile connections and a 100,000-contact DM ceiling. Sentiment detection, industry benchmarking and a dedicated account manager are held back for Enterprise. Extra seats beyond a plan's included users are reportedly $3.75/user/month, and a free plan with 3 profiles is reported by third parties though not listed on Vista's own pricing page, so treat both as unconfirmed.
Then the add-ons. Social listening is $75/month on the lower tiers, Employee Advocacy starts at $199/month, and the X integration is the $29/month already mentioned. Stack listening and X onto a Professional plan and the real bill is $183/month, not $79. It still undercuts Sprout, but read the second column before you sign.
The unified inbox is the feature agencies will actually live in. Comments, DMs and reviews from every connected network land in one queue, and DM automations can triage the repetitive ones. Review management pulls in Google and Facebook reviews so a client's reputation sits in the same place as its posts, which is genuinely rarer than it sounds at this price.
Social listening is thinner than the label suggests on anything below Enterprise. On Professional and Advanced it is a $75/month bolt-on, and the sentiment analysis and industry benchmarking that make listening worth the name only appear at the custom Enterprise tier. Read "listening" on the cheaper plans as keyword monitoring, not competitive intelligence.
The visual content calendar is the day-to-day workhorse: bulk uploads, drag-and-drop rescheduling, and optimal-time posting suggestions drawn from each account's engagement. A link-in-bio tool, Vista Page, is bundled in rather than sold separately.
The AI is metered in credits: 1,000 a month on Professional, 2,000 on Advanced, 3,500 on Scale. Credits cover caption drafting and the content-idea generator (1,000 ideas on Professional). The metering is the thing to watch. Run a large team through AI captions and you can drain a month's allotment early, after which you either upgrade a tier or wait for the reset. For a two-person shop the ceiling is generous; for eight people on Scale, 3,500 credits go faster than the number looks.
Skip Vista Social if you run one brand across a handful of mainstream accounts and never touch Bluesky, Threads or Reddit. Hootsuite's Professional plan at $99/month (one user, ten accounts) or a free Buffer tier is simpler and you will not notice the missing networks. Skip it if social listening is core to your job, because the real listening features sit behind the Enterprise quote and the $75/month add-on below it is basic. And skip it if X is central and the $29/month surcharge stacked on top of your plan is a dealbreaker.
Vista Social is built for the crowded middle that Sprout Social and Hootsuite price out of: agencies and small teams juggling ten or more profiles across networks the cheaper tools ignore. Paying $79/month for 15 profiles and two seats instead of $199 per seat is a real saving, provided you go in knowing the listening and X add-ons can nearly triple the Professional bill. The 14-day trial takes no card, so test the inbox and calendar on your own accounts before committing. A solo creator on two platforms will find it more tool than they need, and an enterprise that lives on social listening only makes the math work at the custom tier. Everyone between those two is exactly who it was built for.
