Content at Scale 现在是 BrandWell 的 RankWell。 2026 年 10 月检查的定价(249-999 美元/月,每篇文章约 10 美元)、退款规则、人工智能检测器转移到 Moxby,以及谁应该跳过它。
Type contentatscale.ai into a browser and you land on brandwell.ai. The redirect was still in place when we checked on October 21, 2026, and it tells the whole story in one hop: the AI blog writer that got famous for "undetectable" long-form posts is now one product among nine in a sales-and-marketing suite, and it has a new name. It is called RankWell.
The rename was announced on August 27, 2024. The press release said that "what started as an AI writing tool that solely focused on creating and publishing long-form SEO blog posts has now evolved into an all-in-one brand growth engine." BrandWell's own launch story, last updated in October 2026, is more direct: "RankWell is the content workflow within BrandWell." Justin McGill is listed as Founder & CEO. Co-founder Julia McCoy, long the public face of Content at Scale, later announced on X that she was "out of my role at BrandWell (formerly Content at Scale) completely as partner & President." The company also says Content at Scale reached $1M in annual recurring revenue 45 days after launch, a figure only the vendor reports.
What the suite sells today: MarketPulse (intent data), TrafficID (website visitor identification), SocialStreams (social listening), RankWell (AI SEO writing), Link Builder, Visibility (SEO and AI visibility tracking), Outreach (cold email), Direct Mail, and AIMEE, which BrandWell markets as "AI employee software." If you searched for Content at Scale because you want the old writer, RankWell is the only part you need. The login menu still describes it as "For the original polished SEO & AI Detector."
You give it one of six inputs: a keyword, an article URL, a YouTube video, a podcast episode, an audio file or a document. The help centre promises that "your fully-optimized post will be ready in 5-7 minutes." Around that sits a research layer BrandWell calls Content Intelligence (keyword research, a topic report, a content brief and an optimization audit), plus a Content Overview dashboard that scores every article and suggests whether to rewrite, refresh or optimize it. Every plan includes publishing and "Visibility and AI citation monitoring."
Treat "fully-optimized" as a starting point. In BrandWell's own September 2026 capture of the live editor, a draft sits at an SEO score of 37, with a column of keyword recommendations still waiting. The vendor's own marketing image shows a post that needs editing. Budget for that editing time, because the price below covers drafts, not finished posts.
On the model, BrandWell says it runs "a proprietary stack of 3 NLPs and our own semantic search crawler" and that "we do not use ChatGPT as the source for our content." We could not verify either claim, and the help centre does not name the models underneath, so you will not know if they change. Output rights are clear: "You will own the copyright to posts you create using BrandWell." The help pages we read say nothing about whether your drafts are used for training. Ask before you paste in client material.
RankWell is sold as its own product with three plans, billed monthly in USD. The figures below were checked on BrandWell's pricing page on October 21, 2026.
| Plan | Price | Articles / month | Per article | Rewrite words | Adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $249/mo | 25 | ~$9.96 | 20,000 | Writing, optimization, publishing, visibility monitoring |
| Growth | $499/mo | 50 | ~$9.98 | 50,000 | Programmatic SEO, Link Builder |
| Scale | $999/mo | 100 | ~$9.99 | Unlimited | Programmatic SEO, Link Builder |
The per-article price barely moves between tiers. Bigger plans buy programmatic SEO, more rewrite words and Link Builder, not cheaper posts. Compare that with Content at Scale in mid-2023, when an archived pricing page listed Solo at $250/mo for 8 posts ($31 each), Starter at $500 for 20, Scaling at $1,000 for 50 and Agency at $1,500 for 100 ($15 each), with a 7-day trial and one article for $39.99. The entry price is the same as it was. You now get about three times the articles for it.
The catch is in the billing rules. "Monthly credits included in your subscription plan are valid only for the month of purchase and do not carry over." Write 10 posts on Essentials and each one cost you $24.90. Credits bought one-off roll over for up to six months. An extra project is $100. BrandWell publishes no annual prices, and some larger custom plans "require a term commitment." There is no free trial or free tier for RankWell. The one freebie is a premium post credit for connecting Google Search Console.
The help centre is blunt: "We do not offer a money-back guarantee." What it offers instead is narrower. If, "after two rewrites and only slight human editing," you still dislike a post, you get the post credit back, not the money. The 72-hour refund window on the pricing page belongs to MarketPulse alone and does not cover RankWell.
Month-to-month plans can be cancelled at any time, so the real risk is one month's fee. That is $249 at the minimum. Trustpilot has just one review of brandwell.ai, which is far too small a sample to judge by, but its complaint is exactly this policy: "they continue to charge us 249 US$ per month with no option of refund." Set a reminder to cancel before the renewal date if you are only testing.
For many people, Content at Scale meant its free AI content detector. That page now redirects twice: first to brandwell.ai, then to Moxby, which BrandWell's footer calls "our sister product." The detector is now a free browser-extension "Mod" that reviews up to 10,000 characters "for repetitive, uniform, or robotic patterns." Its disclaimers read very differently from the old marketing: "Human-written text can be flagged, so results are not proof of authorship," "it does not determine whether a person or AI wrote the text," and "results are approximate and can be wrong."
In 2024 the rebrand release still claimed that "Content at Scale was the first undetectable writer on the scene." Two years later the same company says its detector cannot prove who wrote anything. The later statement is the honest one. Do not buy RankWell to get past a detector, and do not use any detector to grade a writer's work.
The independent evidence points the same way. Originality.ai, which sells a competing detector, ran seven Jasper-generated samples through Content at Scale's tool in November 2025. It flagged 3 of 7, with an average detection score of 46% against Originality's 79.14%. A rival ran that test, so read it with care. More broadly, a 2023 study by Weber-Wulff and colleagues found that available detection tools "are neither accurate nor reliable" and lean toward calling text human-written. That study did not necessarily test this product, but its point holds for the whole category. Inside the app, the paid AI Detector Pro still sits under the WriteWell menu with a "Rewrite & Humanize" button.
Skip RankWell if you publish fewer than about 15 posts a month. The $249 floor buys 25, unused credits expire, and there is no smaller plan or trial to start on. A general writing assistant such as Jasper suits mixed copy work better than a tool built only for blog posts. If you mainly want the research half (briefs, topic clusters, on-page scoring) and plan to write yourself, Scalenut or WriterZen cover that without a 25-article quota. If you are building a whole affiliate site rather than a blog, UseArticle is aimed at that job. For polishing text you already have, QuillBot is the lighter tool.
Skip it too if you came for the AI detector. The free one now lives on Moxby, and its own makers say it is not proof of anything.
Content at Scale did not die; it became RankWell, and the writer is cheaper per post than it ever was. At roughly $10 an article it makes sense for an agency or site owner who publishes 25 or more SEO posts a month, has an editor to take each draft from a score of 37 to something worth ranking, and can live with credits that expire and a refund policy that returns posts rather than money. It is the wrong buy for a low-volume blog, for anyone who wants a trial before paying $249, and for anyone still chasing "undetectable" text. BrandWell no longer promises that, and it is right not to.
