A hands-on look at NeuronWriter's pricing, plan limits and the features locked until Gold, including why the $19 Bronze plan hands you fewer AI credits than the free trial.
Start with the number that decides whether NeuronWriter is worth paying for. Its 7-day free trial runs under Gold-plan terms and allocates 20,000 AI credits (the trial figure cited in metadatamarketer.com's intelligence report). Bronze, the cheapest paid plan at $19 a month billed annually, gives you 15,000 credits a month. Your first paid month is smaller than the free week that sold you on the tool.
The pricing page does not lead with that comparison. Budget against 15,000 credits, not against how generous the trial felt, or you will run out sooner than you planned.
NeuronWriter is an SEO content optimization platform. Give it a target keyword and it pulls the pages currently ranking for that term, analyzes their structure, and builds a brief: recommended terms, questions to answer, headings and semantic entities. As you write in its editor, it scores your draft in real time against that brief, so you can see whether you are on track before you publish rather than after.
The newer half of the product is AI-visibility tracking, sometimes labelled GEO. It monitors whether your brand gets cited or mentioned by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews, and steers your content toward being quoted by them. The company says it serves more than 300,000 users and pitches itself as a content platform for classic SEO and answer engines alike.

NeuronWriter sells five paid tiers, each with a monthly price and a cheaper annual rate. All figures below were checked on the NeuronWriter pricing page on 21 September 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (per month) | Projects | Analyses/mo | AI credits/mo |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | $23 | $19 ($228/yr) | 2 | 25 | 15,000 |
| Silver | $45 | $37 ($444/yr) | 5 | 50 | 30,000 |
| Gold | $69 | $57 ($684/yr) | 10 | 75 | 45,000 |
| Platinum | $93 | $77 ($924/yr) | 25 | 100 | 60,000 |
| Diamond | $117 | $97 ($1,164/yr) | 50 | 150 | 75,000 |
There is no permanent free plan. The only way in without paying is the 7-day trial, which as noted runs under Gold terms and then stops cold.

The plan table hides the real dividing line, which is not credits but features. Gold, at $57 a month billed annually, is the first tier that includes the Content Designer, custom AI templates, unlimited team sharing with Create, Edit and Read roles, 75 plagiarism checks a month, and the integrations most teams assume they are buying: Google Search Console, WordPress and Shopify. Gold is also where you can bring your own OpenAI key and where the Neuron API turns on.
Bronze and Silver have none of that. No integrations, so no direct WordPress publishing. No API, which means no Zapier, Make.com or n8n automation of any kind. No plagiarism checker. If you picked Bronze expecting to wire NeuronWriter into a publishing workflow, you picked wrong: the automation you want starts three tiers up, at three times the price.

NeuronWriter meters its AI writing in credits, but it will not tell you what anything costs before you spend it. There is no in-product breakdown of which action consumed how many credits, a complaint that recurs in user reviews. You watch a running total drop, not a per-action price, so learning that a long generation burned a chunk of your month happens after the fact, never before.
There is a second layer to that opacity. NeuronWriter does not publicly commit to which underlying model powers generation on the paid tiers, and a vendor is free to swap it without notice. Only at Gold, where you can supply your own OpenAI key, do you know exactly which model ran and on whose account the tokens were billed. On Bronze's 15,000 credits the guessing bites hardest, because the smallest allowance is the one where every generation matters and the one that gives you the least warning.
Buy NeuronWriter at Gold or above if you are an agency or an in-house SEO team that will actually use the API, the WordPress and Search Console integrations, and the team roles. At that level the credit allowance is comfortable and the SERP-driven briefs are genuinely useful for planning content that ranks.
Skip the Bronze and Silver tiers. They read like a cheap way in, but they strip out the automation and integrations that make the tool pay for itself, and they hand you fewer credits than the trial did. A solo writer on a tight budget is better served by running the trial and then either committing to Gold or using a lighter optimizer such as Frase, rather than paying $19 a month for a version that cannot connect to anything.
