ConvertFlow review: popup, quiz and landing page builders from $29/mo, personalization and A/B testing on Pro at $299/mo, pricing checked September 2026.
ConvertFlow builds the things that sit between a visitor and a sale: popups, landing pages, quizzes, embedded forms and sticky bars. Plenty of tools do that. What ConvertFlow adds is the ability to change the offer based on who is looking - a returning customer with a full cart sees something different from a first-time visitor who came in from a Facebook ad - without a developer writing the rules.
The catch is where that ability lives. The builders are on every plan, starting at $29 a month. The personalization logic and the A/B testing are on Pro, at $299 a month. That tenfold jump is the whole buying decision, and most of this review is about which side of it you belong on.
ConvertFlow's features page lists six builders, and they share one editor. The popup builder ships with more than 100 list-subscribe templates and fires on exit intent, scroll depth, time on page or a click. The landing page builder can host pages on your own custom domain, sync pages to Shopify, or embed them anywhere. There is a quiz funnel builder with conditional logic, an embedded form builder, a sticky and announcement bar builder, and a survey tool.
The template library is the part that saves the most time. ConvertFlow says every plan, the free one included, gets 400+ templates that its AI can "remix" into your brand and copy. For a small store that wants an exit-intent discount popup live by lunch, that is most of the job done.
Quizzes deserve a separate mention. A product-finder quiz that routes answers to different recommendations is something most popup tools cannot do at all, and ConvertFlow builds it with branching logic in the same editor as everything else. For Shopify stores selling skincare, supplements or anything where "which one is right for me?" is the question, this is the feature that justifies the tool over a cheaper popup plugin.
This is the part ConvertFlow is actually selling. Offers can be targeted by a visitor's site activity, cart status, order history, geolocation and traffic source, and chained into multi-step funnels where step two depends on what the visitor did at step one. Pro adds what ConvertFlow calls identity resolution, so a known contact is recognized on return rather than treated as a stranger.
A/B split testing comes with built-in reporting, and ConvertFlow markets it as "AI-powered" on the Pro plan. The funnel analytics view tracks conversion across every step, and each contact profile records what they submitted along with attribution fields - useful when you need to prove which campaign produced a lead, not just that a lead arrived.
Here is the limit the marketing page glosses over. On Personal and Prime you can build a popup, but you cannot test two versions of it against each other, and you cannot show it only to people with something in their cart. You are running the same message at everyone. That is fine for an email-capture popup. It is the wrong tool if your plan is to optimize.
Checked on convertflow.com/pricing in September 2026. Annual billing takes roughly 15% off each tier.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed annually | Funnel views / month | Campaigns per site |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | - | 5 |
| Personal | $29 | $25/mo | 10,000 | 10 |
| Prime | $99 | $83/mo | 30,000 | 25 |
| Pro | $299 | $250/mo | 100,000 | Unlimited |
| Plus | $999 | $833/mo | 1,000,000 | Unlimited |
The free plan needs no credit card and has no time limit, but it is really a sandbox: five campaigns and unlimited previews, which lets you build and look at things before paying. Personal covers one website, the builders, newsletter integrations, Shopify publishing and unlimited user seats - so no per-seat bill as the team grows. Prime is where CRM and SMS integrations, email and SMS field validation, Zapier and custom webhooks arrive. Pro adds the personalization logic, A/B testing, identity resolution and three custom domains per site. Plus is a managed service as much as software: a dedicated account manager, monthly optimization meetings, a "Funnel Accelerator" program and ten custom domains.
Two things to know before comparing numbers. First, ConvertFlow relaunched its pricing in 2026 around "active leads" - contacts who engaged with your site in the last 90 days - alongside the funnel-view caps above, and existing customers were grandfathered onto their old plans. That is why aggregator sites such as Capterra and GetApp may still show different figures; trust the vendor's page. Second, the Personal plan's 10,000 funnel views go faster than they sound on a store with a site-wide popup, because every display counts.
ConvertFlow holds 4.5 out of 5 on G2 from 56 reviews and 4.5 on Capterra from 30, checked in September 2026. Those are small samples, so read them as a direction rather than a verdict. Reviewers on G2 consistently praise ease of use and the speed of the team's support during integration work.
The recurring complaint cuts the other way. One G2 reviewer called it "a bit of a beast to get to grips with" once you move past basic popups into multi-step personalized funnels, and several note that the base plan's integrations are thin. That second point matters in practice: a Personal-plan user whose leads belong in HubSpot or Salesforce, rather than a newsletter tool, has no CRM integration and no webhooks, which means either upgrading to Prime at $99 or exporting by hand.
Buy Personal or Prime if you run a Shopify store or a content site and want good-looking popups, quizzes and landing pages without a designer. The templates and the quiz builder are the value here, and unlimited seats keep the bill flat. Pick Prime only if your leads need to reach a CRM or an SMS tool.
Buy Pro if you already have steady traffic and a specific plan to test offers against each other or segment them by cart and source. At $250 a month billed annually it is priced for teams that will measure the lift, and the funnel analytics make that measurement easy.
Skip it if all you want is an email-capture popup: OptinMonster or your email provider's built-in forms do that for less, and you would be paying for builders you never open. Skip it too if you need a full landing-page platform with deep page design - Unbounce and Leadpages are built around pages first, where ConvertFlow is built around on-site campaigns. Start on the free plan, build the one campaign you actually need, and upgrade only when you hit a limit you can name.
