Expandi review: $99 per LinkedIn account for cloud-based LinkedIn and email outreach with warm-up and safe daily limits. Real pricing, the Hyperise and Sendspark add-ons, a HeyReach comparison, and what user reviews warn about, checked September 2026.
Expandi is a cloud-based LinkedIn outreach tool that leans hard on one promise: it will automate your connection requests and messages without getting your account banned. Whether it holds that promise is the whole review. Here is what $99 a month actually buys, checked against Expandi's pricing and help pages in September 2026.
Expandi's Business plan is $99/month billed monthly, or $79/month if you pay a year upfront, a 20% discount the company frames as "two months free" (pricing page, checked September 2026). The number that matters is the unit: you pay per LinkedIn account, not per team. Run three accounts and the list price is $297/month, not $99.
The Agency plan is custom-priced and aimed at 10 or more seats. It adds role and permission management, centralized campaign management, client-facing reports, a dedicated customer success manager, and white-label branding so you can run Expandi under your own name.
Two features Expandi shows off in its own demos are not in the $99 price. Image and GIF personalization runs through Hyperise, and video personalization through Sendspark; the pricing page tags both as paid add-ons on top of your subscription. If personalized images are the reason you are looking at Expandi, budget for a second bill.
The trial is 7 days, full-feature, with no charge until you decide to continue, and a monthly plan cancels anytime. That is a fair way to test it before the per-account math starts to bite.
Expandi's core argument against browser-extension tools is that it runs in the cloud from a dedicated, country-based IP address, so your activity looks like it comes from one consistent location rather than a plugin firing inside your browser. On top of that sits "Profile Auto Warm-up": you start with a small daily volume and raise it gradually to avoid tripping LinkedIn's limits.
The numbers are concrete. Expandi's Daily Limits help article (last updated May 29, 2026) lets you set between 20 and 27 messages per day, then varies the exact figure within that range each active day, so your output is not a robotic constant. There is also a locked "Safe Preset", limits chosen by Expandi's team to stay in a low-risk band. Pick it and you cannot adjust the daily numbers at all; they are fixed for you.
For connection requests, Expandi caps you around 300 a week, and a separate "Mobile Connector" campaign type adds another 100 per week by mimicking the mobile app.
The feature Expandi sells hardest is multichannel sequencing. A single campaign can send a connection request, follow up with LinkedIn messages, then drop to email if the prospect never accepts, built in an if/then sequence editor with no cap on the number of campaigns you run.
This is the real line between Expandi and a LinkedIn-only tool. Email follow-ups live inside the same flow instead of a separate app, which is the case Expandi makes against rivals that automate LinkedIn alone.
The outreach market lost a name this year. According to Expandi's own comparison page (updated February 25, 2026), competitor Zopto "permanently shut down in February 2026," with no advance warning to customers and no reason given. Take that with the grain of salt it deserves, since it is a rival describing a rival. Expandi cites Zopto's old pricing at $197 per account per month plus a required LinkedIn Sales Navigator subscription of roughly $99, versus its own $99 per account with a free trial and no Sales Navigator requirement.
The live comparison is HeyReach, which aiignitions reviewed separately. On Expandi's own numbers, HeyReach's Growth plan is $59 per seat per month, cheaper per seat than Expandi's $99, with agency tiers at $749 and $1,999 a month. HeyReach's pitch is running many LinkedIn accounts from one dashboard with sender rotation; Expandi's is folding email into the same sequence. If you send only on LinkedIn across a fleet of accounts, HeyReach is the cheaper unit. If you want LinkedIn and email in one flow on a handful of accounts, Expandi's bundle is tighter.
Expandi holds a 4.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 234 reviews as of September 15, 2026, with 75% at five stars and 18% at one star. The praise is consistent: responsive onboarding and support. The one-star reviews cluster around two things: setup and navigation that new users find fiddly, and, less often, slow or unhelpful support in specific cases.
The complaint worth flagging is account restrictions. A recurring theme across user reviews is people saying LinkedIn limited or banned their account after weeks of active automation, and a few mention confusing auto-renewal or cancellation friction. These are review patterns, not a measured failure rate, and no safety feature changes the underlying fact: automating LinkedIn violates LinkedIn's terms, and the risk is yours, not the tool's. Capterra paints a similar overall picture, 4.4 out of 5 from 31 reviews.
Buy Expandi if you run outreach on one to a few LinkedIn accounts and you want email folded into the same sequence, with warm-up and a locked safe-limit preset doing the risk management for you. The 7-day full trial means you can test the setup before paying, and at that scale the $99-per-account price is defensible.
Skip it if you are an agency running many accounts on LinkedIn alone. There, HeyReach's $59-per-seat pricing and account-rotation model cost less per sender and are built for the volume. And skip any of these tools if a banned LinkedIn account would be a real business problem, because no cloud IP or warm-up removes that risk. It only lowers it.
