Seobility review: pricing from 59.90 EUR/month, what the free plan blocks, rank-tracking limits, which AI features are live or beta, and how it compares to SE Ranking.
Most SEO suites are sold on the size of their keyword or backlink database. Seobility is sold on its crawler. It started in 2013 as a free SEO checker, launched as a paid product in 2014 with 1,000 users, and was rebuilt as "Seobility 2.0" in 2025. The company behind it is seobility GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany, and its pricing page now claims more than 800,000 users.
The entry paid plan costs 59.90 EUR a month ($69.90 on the USD switcher), checked on the pricing page in October 2026. SE Ranking's Core plan is $129. For that money you get a site audit that crawls 25,000 pages, 300 tracked keywords and backlink monitoring across three projects. What you do not get is a large research database, a public API or, yet, the AI visibility tracker the site advertises.
The audit checks more than 300 factors on every page and groups the results into 50-plus reports (the FAQ says "more than 100"; the two pages disagree). It reads the HTML the way Google does, so it does not care whether the site runs on WordPress, Shopify or a JavaScript framework, and paid plans can switch JavaScript execution on or off. Beyond meta data and broken links it flags duplicate content, typos, keyword cannibalization and click distance - how many clicks a page sits from the homepage, which is where orphaned money pages tend to hide.

Crawl budgets are generous for the price: 25,000 pages per crawl on Premium, 50,000 on Professional and 100,000 on Agency, with unlimited re-crawls on a schedule you set in days. An uptime monitor is bundled, checking every three minutes (every minute on Agency).
The newest check is the one worth running first. A "Pages blocked for AI bots" report lists URLs your setup keeps away from OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Claude-SearchBot and similar crawlers. Plenty of sites pasted a blanket AI-bot block into robots.txt years ago and now wonder why answer engines never cite them.

This is the limit the plan table does not shout about. Seobility updates desktop rankings daily only for keywords sitting in the first two pages of Google. Mobile rankings refresh every three days, and the full top-100 snapshot every two weeks. So a keyword that slides from position 18 to 35 drops out of your daily view, and you may not learn where it landed for up to 14 days.
You can buy your way out, but it eats into the price advantage. Daily top-50 tracking costs 5.90 EUR a month on Premium and daily top-100 costs 12.90 EUR, both covering only the plan's included 300 keywords. Another 100 keywords is 10.90 EUR, and extending daily top-100 to them is 5.90 EUR more. A Premium account with 400 keywords tracked daily to position 100 lands at about 89.60 EUR a month before VAT.
The tracker does carry two things cheaper tools often skip. Local Pack positions can be tracked down to city level. And AI Overview tracking stores the full AI answer text, the sources it cited and each source's position in that list.

Backlink monitoring watches your link profile with follow, nofollow and broken filters and a rating per link, updated weekly. Seobility does not publish how big its backlink index is, and nothing on its site compares it with Ahrefs or Semrush. Treat it as a monitor for links you already have, not a prospecting database. If link building is the job, Ahrefs is still the benchmark.

The Keyword Research tool, SEO Checker, Ranking Checker and TF*IDF tool share one daily allowance: 50 requests on Premium, 100 on Professional, 200 on Agency. That is enough to brief a few articles a day. It is not enough to build a 5,000-term keyword map. The TF*IDF tool, which compares your page's term weighting with the pages that already rank, is the more useful of the two content tools if most of your work is rewriting existing posts.
Seobility's marketing now leans hard on AI search. The features behind it are at three different stages.
Live. The AI Overview tracking and the AI-bot audit check described above both work on paid plans.
Beta. A read-only MCP server lets ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex query your Seobility data with a personal API key from Account Settings. It "can't delete anything", and MCP credits will become a paid add-on later. The MCP page says Premium and Agency; the pricing table ticks all three paid plans. That key is also the only programmatic access there is - Seobility documents no general API for pulling data into your own dashboards.
Not shipped. AI Visibility Tracking, meant to show how often ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI answers mention your brand, is "coming soon" and rolling out to a small group of users first. The pricing page already lists its allowances (15 prompts on one platform for Premium, 250 on two for Agency) and sells extra prompt packs from 19.90 EUR. Do not pay for a plan on the strength of it until it appears in your account.
All prices exclude VAT and were checked on Seobility's pricing page in October 2026. Annual billing takes 20% off. Despite the name, "Premium" is the cheapest paid tier.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed annually | Projects | Pages per crawl | Keywords tracked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | Free | Free | 1 | 100 | 10 |
| Premium | 59.90 EUR ($69.90) | 575.04 EUR/year | 3 | 25,000 | 300 |
| Professional | 99.90 EUR ($109.90) | 959.04 EUR/year | 7 | 50,000 | 700 |
| Agency | 209.90 EUR ($239.90) | 2,015.04 EUR/year | 20 | 100,000 | 2,000 |
Premium lacks the two things agencies ask for first: white-label PDF reports and team members. Both start at Professional, which allows up to three members; Agency allows unlimited. Phone support is Agency-only. Everyone else gets email, with no published response time, and there is no Enterprise tier above Agency.
Every paid plan has a 14-day free trial, but signup asks for a credit card or PayPal - SE Ranking's trial does not. You can cancel any time with no notice period, and the minimum term is one month. Two clauses deserve a look before you commit. Downgrades only take effect when the current term ends, and the terms say data from features of the higher plan is deleted automatically at that point, so export first. Every report exports to PDF and CSV. The terms also promise only 97% availability averaged over a year, which on paper allows about 11 days of downtime.
Basic is free with no time limit and no card: one project, 10 tracked keywords, 5 tool credits a day and an audit capped at 100 pages per crawl. Every crawl has to be started by hand, duplicate-content analysis is limited, and you wait several days between crawls (the FAQ says three days in two answers and seven in another). Seobility itself pitches it at small, non-commercial sites. It is a look at the interface, not a way to run a 500-page shop.
Seobility holds 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 88 reviews, checked in October 2026, and sits around 4.6 on G2 and Capterra too. Reviewers praise the ease of use and fast support. The complaints cluster around two things. A reviewer in June 2026 said keyword rank tracking had not worked properly for more than 20 days. Another, in January 2025, blocked their card after the trial and was then invoiced for payment by bank transfer. The trial converts to a paid plan unless you cancel inside the account; stopping the card does not end the contract.
| Tool and entry plan | Monthly | Billed annually |
|---|---|---|
| Seobility Premium | 59.90 EUR / $69.90 | 575.04 EUR/year |
| SE Ranking Core | $129 | $103.20/month |
| Semrush SEO | $139 | $117.33/month |
| Sitechecker Standard | $249 | $208/month |
Prices as listed on each vendor's pricing page in October 2026; Sitechecker's Standard is the first plan its page shows. On monthly billing Seobility costs about $59 less than SE Ranking Core and about $69 less than Semrush's SEO plan. The extra buys research depth: keyword databases and a backlink index big enough to find links you do not have yet. If your work is fixing and monitoring sites you already own, Seobility gives up little. If it is finding new keywords and link targets, it gives up most of what you would be paying for. WooRank and Sitechecker are the other audit-first tools worth a look.
Buy it if you are a freelancer, a small agency or a site owner whose real job is technical SEO: finding broken pages, duplicate content, cannibalized keywords and the AI crawlers you are blocking by accident, then watching page-one rankings for a few hundred keywords. Premium covers three sites of up to 25,000 pages each for 59.90 EUR, and Professional adds white-label client reports at 99.90 EUR. Few tools crawl that much for that price.
Skip it if you need keyword research at scale, a backlink index for prospecting or an API to feed your own reporting. SE Ranking is the nearest step up in price; Semrush and Ahrefs are the full versions. Skip it too if AI visibility tracking is why you are shopping. It is still coming soon.
Start on the free Basic plan, which needs no card, to see whether the audit reports suit you. If you then take the 14-day trial, set a reminder: it bills unless you cancel in the account.
